Alchemy will be taking root at the former Good Garden Co. in Billings Park in Superior, WI.
When you visit Alchemy, it will be a tactile, full sensory experience. It will be a place to discover something new, spark curiosity, & connect with nature. We will definitely be keeping the “good” from the Good Garden Co. that Michelle worked hard to build. We will be evolving the greenhouses into a year-round ever-growing sanctuary.
About six months ago, my car drove itself into the Good Garden Co. parking lot. I just felt a pull, followed my gut, & parked in the empty lot (it was late Fall). The gate was open, so I walked in & then basically asked Michelle if she would consider selling the building to me. I shared my vision with her & what my plans would be with the space, my dream sanctuary of ALL the things!
Alchemy will continue to offer our experience menu (permanent jewelry, aura portraits, & mini-classes) along with our crystals, candles, charm bar, & metaphysical tools & gifts.
We will be keeping the Good Garden Co.’s best sellers and adding indoor plants & accessories! You will be able to find classic to cult varieties. Kate with Hippie Houseplants will be managing one of the greenhouses. Learn more about Kate here.
A casual coffee & tea bar will start in the Fall! The focus will be on “Community Over Coffee”. A place to grab a drink, gather, & connect with nature... One of the greenhouses will be set up with cozy seating areas so you can surround yourself with the living art.
Alchemy will continue to host our Tarot Club and other metaphysical classes. We will be utilizing the last greenhouse for classes when we need more space or privacy. You'll be able to find our events here.
We plan on expanding learning opportunities to include the following:
Yoga + Hot Yoga + Yoga Therapy
Planting + Plant themed Classes (natural dying, useful herbs for cocktails & mocktails, etc.)
Variety of Art Classes (jewelry making, pumpkin painting, cyanotype/monotype printing, etc.)
Book Club
Sunday Sounds (Sober Karaoke + Vinyl Vibes)
Plant Wave Sound Healing

Alchemy will be several things at once. Alchemy will be starting with what we already know, adding lean start-ups (for the coffee & indoor plants), & strengthening our roots as time passes. We will be leaning on helpers with passions that align with the vision. When you visit, it will not be a standard shopping experience. I will be treating the space like a home filled with all the things I love. I will be focused on being a good host for the community vs. a business of selling.
